« La forêt de Kakimbo suffoque. L’ancien poumon vert de Conakry est nécrosé par l’urbanisation sauvage et massive de la capitale guinéenne. Rongé par la pollution, il n’occupe plus qu’une dizaine d’hectares, soit 10 % de ce qu’il était il y a cinquante ans. Un grand corps malade qu’Oumou Hawa Diallo, 23 ans, veut ranimer. »

The Kakimbo forest is suffocating. The former green lung of Conakry is necrotized by the wild and massive urbanization of the Guinean capital. Eaten away by pollution, it now only occupies around ten hectares, or 10% of what it was fifty years ago. A large sick body that Oumou Hawa Diallo, 23, wants to revive.
