Il est dans l’Océan Indien une petite île où s’abattent violemment et sans complexes les effets de la mondialisation libérale. Nous sommes à l’Île Maurice où des chantiers pharaoniques défigurent le paysage et modifient sans aucune concertation la vie des habitants. Au centre de l’île, « la maison rouge » et ses activités commerciales sont menacées par les bulldozers du Métro Express. Plus loin, c’est la construction d’une Smart-City qui bouleverse la vie d’un quartier. Affectés par toutes ces violences, les habitants témoignent.

There is a small island in the Indian Ocean where the effects of liberal globalization are falling violently and without complexes. We are in Mauritius where pharaonic construction sites are disfiguring the landscape and changing the lives of the inhabitants without any consultation. In the center of the island, « the red house » and its commercial activities are threatened by Metro Express bulldozers. Further on, it is the construction of a Smart-City which is changing the life of a neighborhood. Affected by all this violence, residents testify.
