  27. Un grand nombre de Tongas souhaitent ardemment se réinstaller dans le bassin fluvial,
  28. Mais ce n’est qu’un rêve, un souhait,
  29. Parce que rien de significatif ou de valeur n’existe encore au bord du fleuve.

  9. A river visited by almost everyone, to see its beauty.
  10. The mighty Zambezi, the river of wonders.
  11. The river that gives life,
  12. Where the culture and tradition of the BaTonga is rooted in,
  13. A river with all species of fish.
  14. A river where all aquatic snake’s species exist or live,
  15. And all other aquatic animals.
  16. The mighty Zambezi, the river of wonders.
  17. The mighty Zambezi River, the river so cherished by the BaTonga
  18. A people so attached totheirriver,
  19. A river where the ancestors cry for help. 
  20. Who’s going to save the ancestors, who’s going to die for them?
  21. Who still wants to get in the river,
  22. Which is now home to all dangerous animal species.
  23. The mighty Zambezi, the river of wonders.
  24. The BaTonga yearn and desire to go back to the river basin.
  25. Is this just a dream to them or someday it shall come to pass?
  26. But will they survive at the river basin when it runs dry?
  27. Quite a few of the BaTonga people have a burning desire to resettle at the river basin,
  28. But this is just a dream, just a wish,
  29. Because nothing meaningful or of value still exists at the river.
