Le court-métrage documentaire Ka’a Zar Ukize Wá – Les gardiens de la forêt en danger est un cri d’alerte face à la situation critique des peuples autochtones isolés de l’ethnie Awá Guajá, qui partagent le territoire indigène Araribóia avec leurs proches Guajajara. Les Awá Guajá dépendent intrinsèquement de la forêt pour leur survie — pour la chasse, la cueillette et l’eau. Cependant, dans le territoire indigène Araribóia, la forêt est gravement menacée : la dégradation forestière, qui inclut le vol de bois, affecte 34 % du territoire.

The short documentary Ka’a Zar Ukize Wá – Os Donos da Floresta em Perigo is a cry for help from the grave situation of the isolated indigenous people of the Awá Guajá ethnic group who share the Araribóia Indigenous Land with their Guajajara relatives. The Awá Guajá intrinsically depends on the forest for survival — for hunting, gathering and water. However, in the Araribóia Indigenous Land the forest is under serious threat : forest degradation, which includes theft of wood, affects 34% of the territory.
